Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii Jade Marginata' belongs to Sansevieria genus of the Agavaceae family. It is a perennial ,herbaceous foliage plant.Leaves are rosettes, fleshy, Lanceolate, hard leathery, base slightly furrowed, dark green with both sides grey-green to golden.
Growth Habits
Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii Jade Marginata' like warm weather ,drought tolerance, shade tolerance, and the soil requirements are not strict.
Temperature:The suitable temperature range for growing is 20 - 30℃.They can survive safely through winter seasons over 10℃.
Light:This sansevieria thrives well in filtered , bright light,and they also like the mild direct sunlight in the morning and evening,but intense ,hot sunlight may scorch the leaves.If placed in a full shade position for a long time ,their golden stripes bothside of the leaf may not so showy.
Water: When the potted plants are totally dry , water slowly and stop when water starts to flow from the bottom hole of the pot.If kept permanently wet while in a high-humidity environment, they will potentially rot out. So a Sansevieria need to be reduce in winter and pulm rain season.
Humidity: Average humidity is fine but lower humidity do better for this Sansevieria because of its fleshy leaves.
Fertiliser: Feed every other week using a water-soluble fertilizer to half the recommended dosage during growing season.Fertilize monthly only when in late fall and in winter .Over-fertilize can burn the roots of the plant.
Substrate:Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii Jade Marginata' should be planted in a container filled with a little sand, quick-draining soil which can reduce the likelihood of root rot.
